IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR 2020 INCOME TAX RETURN

Due to new IRS and covid-19 regulations, starting January 2021 to complete your 2020 tax return, please bring the following to your appointment:

Personal Information:

  • Social security number or ITIN and your date of birth, for you, your spouse, and dependents
  • Copy of your tax return for the previous year (if you did not do them with us)
  • Bank account number so you refund can be deposited directly

Income Information (whatever applies to you)

  • W-2 forms, 1099-MISC, 1099-NEC1099-DIV1099-INT
  • SSA-1099 form if you received Social Security benefits
  • If you are self-employed, proof of income and deductions
  • If you have rental property, proof of income and deductions
  • Form 1095-A, B, or C (health care coverage)
  • Form 1098 Mortgage Interest Statement (only if you are a homeowner and have a bank loan)
  • Charitable contributions
  • If you received unemployment benefits, form 1099-G

Dependent Information:

  • Most recent school transcripts and certificates, medical records, or any other documents that show your dependent’s name and current address
  • If your dependent is 18 years or older, you must bring their 1098-T form and proof that they are a full-time student
  • Dependents’ birth certificates to verify parents eligibility for Child Tax Credit

Please note that if you do not bring all the appropriate documentation, your income tax return will remain pending and will not be sent until all the appropriate documentation is provided.
